To join your Vintage Story server, you will need to follow these steps :
Find your server address
Your server address is shown on your server "manage" page in the AxentHost panel. The address
includes both the IP and the port in the form IP:Port (for example
myserver.axenthost.me:45420).
Make sure your server is started before trying to connect.
Join your server
You can connect by adding your server in the multiplayer menu or by browsing the public server list.
Using direct connect (Add New Server)
- Launch Vintage Story.
- From the main menu, click Multiplayer.
- Click Add New Server.
- Enter your server address in the form
IP:Port(the one from your "manage" page). - Optionally give the server a custom name to find it easily later.
- Click Create, then select your server in the list and click Connect.
Using the server browser
If your server is set to appear in the public list, you can also click Browse Public Servers in the Multiplayer menu and search for your server by name in the search bar. Select it and click Connect.
You should now be able to play on your Vintage Story server with your friends.
