To create a Bedrock server, you will first need to create a free Minecraft server .

Use the Bedrock server variant

Once done, your newly created server will use the default "vanilla" variant. Before switching to bedrock, stop the server and navigate to the "Files" page and delete the whole server files. You need to change the server variant by navigating to your server "Variants" tab and select "Bedrock". Save the variant and let your server reinstall.
You will notice your server being reinstalled in the "Console" page before showing the "server is running" message.
