How to change the version of a Minecraft server

Changing your Minecraft server version is pretty straightforward.
Navigate to your server "Settings" tab and find the "Version" input. By default, you should find "latest" as the selected version.

Make sure to select the right java version. To select the right one, check the Java and Minecraft version correspondence table .

To change your server version, you will need to follow these steps :

• Stop your server
• Navigate to your server settings page
• Change your server "version", like 1.20.4
• Save your settings
• It is recommended to remove your server files and click "reinstall", in particular when downgrading the version.
• Wait for the "reinstall" to complete, you should now be able to join your server with the selected version
