How to join a Mindustry server

You can join a Mindustry server using the game's add-server option. Whether the server is on your local network (LAN) or on the internet, you follow the same steps: add the server with its address, then select it and connect.

Find your server address

In the AxentHost panel, open your server's "manage" page. You'll see the server IP address and the port. Your server's "manage" page will show the correct port for your server. Have the server running before you try to connect.

Join your server

1. Launch Mindustry and open the main menu.
2. Go to the Multiplayer section.
3. In the Add server box, enter the server address. Use the IP from your "manage" page; if the game expects a port, add it in the format IP:Port (for example myserver.axenthost.me:45582), or enter the values in the fields provided.
4. Add or confirm the server so it appears in your list.
5. Click the server in the list to connect.

This works the same for a server on your LAN or for an online dedicated server: you always add the server using its IP (and port if required) and then select it to join.

Once connected, you can play on your Mindustry server with your friends.
