How to join a Gmod server (Garry's mod)

Learn how to join a Gmod server. You can host your own dedicated Gmod server on AxentHost and join it in just a few steps.

To join your server, you will need to follow these steps :

Launch the Steam Client
Click the View tab from the top menu
Click Servers, This opens Steam Server Viewer
Select the Favorites tab
Click the "Add Server" button
Type the address of the server (find it in your server "manage" page)
Click Add this address to favorites
You can now click on "connect" and join your server

If you have made your server public, you can find it in the in-game server list.
In Gmod, click "Find Multiplayer Game", select the gamemode your server is running (example: Sandbox), then search your server name. Once found, you can join your server.

Reading is fine. Running one is better.
