Connecting to your Foundry server only requires your server's IP and port from the AxentHost panel. You can use the in-game direct connect option or, if your server is listed publicly, find it in Steam’s server browser.
Find your server address
In the AxentHost panel, open your server's "manage" page. There you'll see the IP
address
and the port. You'll need both for direct connect, the game uses separate fields for IP and port, not
a single IP:Port line. Ensure the server is running before you try to join.
Join your server
Using direct connect (IP and port)
- Start Foundry and open the main menu.
- Select Multiplayer.
- Choose IP Direct Connect.
- In the IP field, enter the server's IP address from your "manage" page (do not include the port here).
- In the port field, enter the port number shown on the same page.
- Click Connect to join the server.
Using the Steam server browser
If your server is not set to private, it can appear in Steam's server list. From the Steam client, open View → Servers, then use the game filter or search to find your server by name or address and connect from there. For a private server, use the direct connect steps above and share the IP and port only with the players you want to allow in.
Once connected, you can play on your Foundry server with your friends.
