How to join an Abiotic Factor server

To join your Abiotic Factor server, you will need to follow these steps :

You can connect using the in-game server browser or by adding your server to Steam favorites and connecting from there. Your server address (IP and port) is shown on your server "manage" page in the AxentHost panel. Make sure your server is fully started before trying to connect.

Find your server address

On your server "manage" page in the AxentHost panel, you will see the server IP and the port. You will need them in the form IP:Port (for example myserver.axenthost.me:45560) when using Steam to connect. Make sure the server is online before you try to join.

Join your server

Using the in-game server browser

1. Launch Abiotic Factor.
2. From the main menu, click Enter the Facility.
3. Click Join a Server.
4. Type your server name in the search bar at the top.
5. Turn on Show Dedicated so dedicated servers appear in the list.
6. Click the refresh icon and wait for the list to update.
7. Select your server in the list and click Join.
8. If the server has a password, enter it when prompted and confirm.

Using Steam (direct connect)

1. Open Steam and click View in the top menu.
2. Click Servers (or Game Servers).
3. Open the Favorites tab.
4. Click the + or Add a server button.
5. Enter your server address in the form IP:Port (from your "manage" page) and confirm.
6. Select your server in the Favorites list and click Connect.
7. If required, enter the server password when prompted.
8. Steam will launch Abiotic Factor and connect you to the server.

You should now be able to play on your Abiotic Factor server with your friends.
